Draft

The draft will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Sock Bar & Grill in beautiful Hickory Hills. We’ll start around 12:00/12:30.

There will be 16 rounds in the draft. Serpentine draft. We will draw cards for draft order.

Roster/Starting Line Up

16 player roster

Starting line up configuration:

2 Centers, 2 Wings, 2 Defense, 1 Goalie Team

Player position is determined by how they are listed on nhl.com. If a player is listed as a C/RW, for example, he qualifies for both Center and Wing position (there is no distinction between RW and LW or right vs left defenseman).

Line ups must be submitted by 8:00 pm the night before each game day. Otherwise, line up from previous game is used.

Submit line ups via email to tlpuddinhead@yahoo.com. Time stamp on the email determines if the line up was submitted in time.

Scoring

Skater Scoring:

2 pts per goal
1 pt per assist

Goalie Team Scoring:

2 pts for a win
1 pt for an OT loss
0 for a loss

Waivers and Trades

Unlimited waiver moves allowed throughout the regular season. All waivers are first-come, first-served and must be submitted by the line up deadline for a given game to allow the player to be included in that game.

Trades are allowed until game 50.

Uneven trades are allowed (e.g. 2 players for 1). In those cases, the roster sizes can change. If a team trades away more players than it receives, that team cannot fill those empty spots with waiver moves.

If a trade is protested by another team, it will come down to a league vote, where the commissioner will break any ties.

Head-to-head games will be played on select dates throughout the season.

Regular Season: 56 games
Playoffs Semi-Finals: Best out of 3 games
Playoffs Championship: Best out of 5 games
